Another Fourth of July has come and gone.
This one was full to the brim.
Saturday and Sunday the Munchkins stayed with their PaPaw for an over night sleepover (and eatover according to the Monkey).
Isabelle is a BIG fan of the Slaw... this was actually the third bowl I witnessed her scooping prematurely out of the cooler. I'm not sure if she left any for anyone else for dinner that night.
Monkey, on the other hand, decided eating CowTails lakeside was much more fun than swimming...
The three of them were, in the end, fearless swimmers so long as they stayed near the shore and away from the drop off in the lake. So many great memories of swimming in that lake. And the kids didn't want to leave, until they realized the party was just beginning..and we were off to Nani and Pops'.
For red, white & blue popsicles on the front porch...
...and long walks to people-watch on the Canal...
...and pretending we were the Statue of Liberty along the way...
...and lots and lots of watermelon...
...and, apparently, picking your nose for pictures when mom isn't looking...
Happy Fourth everyone!
